Give your Mazda MX-5 Miata NA (Eunos Roadster) a modern front end while keeping its unmistakable pop-up headlights. These 7-inch LED projector units replace the old halogen headlights with a clean projector design and distinctive halos.

Lighting features

Low beam: three projectors in each headlight.
High beam: one large projector in each headlight.
White or amber halos: separate power connections for each function.

One left 7-inch halo LED projector headlight.
One right 7-inch halo LED projector headlight.

Main headlights: plug and play

The main headlight connection plugs into the factory harness and fits standard NA 7-inch assemblies without housing modification.

A straightforward main-unit swap can take approximately five minutes when the standard fittings are in good condition. The numbered installation guide is in the Installation section below.

Optional halo wiring

Green power connector = white halo: connect to a suitable parker, parking-light or running-light positive circuit.
Red power connector = amber halo: connect to a suitable indicator or turn-signal positive circuit.

Halo wiring is separate from the plug-in main headlight connection. Insulate all connections and keep wiring clear of moving parts.

Fitment

Installation

Raise the pop-up headlights, switch off the ignition and lights, and safely isolate the headlights against accidental movement. Remove the plastic headlight shroud and prevent electrical shorts while working.

Support the original headlight. Remove the three Phillips-head screws securing the metal retaining bracket, lift off the bracket and unplug the headlight. These are the retaining screws, not the beam-adjustment screws.

Plug the new LED headlight into the factory connector. For optional halos, connect the GREEN power lead (WHITE halo) to a suitable parker/parking/running-light positive circuit and the RED power lead (AMBER halo) to a suitable indicator/turn-signal positive circuit. Insulate all connections and route wiring clear of moving parts.

Seat the new headlight in the bucket and refit the factory metal retaining bracket using its three Phillips-head screws.

Reinstall the plastic shroud and repeat on the other side. Restore power and test low beam, high beam and any connected halos. Check pop-up clearance and check or adjust beam alignment before driving.

Halo operation follows the connected circuit. Automatic override or switchback when both halo functions are powered is not specified.
